Butler
House Stowe Policies
The
Butler House
Stowe is a unique property where every guest
reservation is both
important and
special to us. Thank
you for
taking time to review our policies which are meant to
provide an
enjoyable stay
for all of our guests. Please
call
or email if you have any questions or concerns.
Rates
10% Vermont state rooms tax is applicable to daily rates. All rates are double occupancy, per night (4 person occupancy for the two bedroom retreat) and are subject to change without notice until reservation is confirmed. Charge for each additional guest over double occupancy is $20 (adhering to maximum occupancy for the room).
Check-In/Out
Check-in is from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Please let us
know if you plan
to
arrive after 7:00 pm. Check out is at 11:00 am.
Minimum Stay
Minimum
stay
requirements vary, but a two night minimum stay is
occasionally
required on
weekends as well as on holidays, foliage season and
during special
events.
Please feel free to call to inquire about your
specific lodging
requests as we
can often accommodate your needs.
Payment
Reservations
must
be secured by a deposit equal to one night’s stay and
charged to a
major credit
card. Balance is due 14
days prior
to arrival.
Cancellations
Because
of our
small size, cancellations and no shows affect us
significantly. For this
reason:
*
Deposits will be
refunded, less a $30 processing fee, only with
notification of at least
14 days
prior to scheduled check-in.
*
Cancellations
made 14 days or fewer out from scheduled check-in will
forfeit their
payment. However, if we
are able
to re-book the room(s) we will refund your payment
less a $30
processing fee.
*
Guests arriving
after or departing before dates reserved are
responsible for the entire
stay.
No Shows
If a guest does not arrive and honor their
reservation, or contact us
to
cancel, they will be charged for the full amount of
the stay.
Parking
Guests
may park
overnight in the parking lots behind The Butler
House. At this time, we
are unable to offer
assigned parking.
Snowboards/Skis
Snowboards
and skis are not allowed in rooms.
Secure locker space is available at the back of
the
building
